T3 rail has 3 contact pins. Includes 1 L pin and 1 N pin (or positive-negative, hot-cold) and 1 ground pin. The grounding pin helps to avoid electrical leakage to the outside. The most common types of rails sold in the market are T2. The T2 rail does not include a ground pin, which is very dangerous. There have been many unfortunate cases of death caused by electric leakage to the outside.

As a 3-pin rail, the light is very firmly installed. Especially the lamps with a capacity of more than 35W have a very heavy weight. If using T2 rail, it is easy to drop the light, causing danger to the users below.
